The sculpturally detailed, sensual architecture and interiors of Touzet Studio are mindfully inspired by nature, culture, and technology. Each project is meticulously-crafted and celebrates texture and color, light and shadow.
Committed to the idea that Design and Architecture must contribute positively to the context and community in which it exists, Touzet Studio believe that the research, design process, and execution are equally important. By focusing on a select type of client and project, they are able to devote exceptional attention to the environment, details, and craftsmanship that define each undertaking.
Comprehensive familiarity with today’s ever-evolving materials and systems allows them to discover innovative solutions and customized designs that appeal to the world’s most design-forward clients. Touzet Studio’s clients range from global brands including Nike, Apple, and Morgan’s Group, to hospitality clients such as The Raleigh Group, recently launched by Tommy Hilfiger, and select private residential clients. The scale of the project can range from Master Plan Developments and large Mixed-Use developments that revitalize an entire neighborhood, to very carefully crafted interiors that elevate the senses and spark the imagination.
Founding Principals Carlos Prio-Touzet and Jacqueline Gonzalez Touzet have been recognized repeatedly by their peers for their work. Their work has won numerous awards and been published extensively internationally. The husband-and-wife team share a broad design perspective, thanks to their years of work on a variety of award-winning projects in Europe and Asia, and their responsibilities as vice presidents of internationally-acclaimed design firms.
While well-crafted and innovative modern design is the firm’s primary focus, Touzet Studio is equally adept at meeting the challenges of thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse. Many of their urban projects incorporate extensive historical and cultural research as part of the design process. The studio delights in weaving thoughtful design narratives and well-documented research into their projects.
Touzet Studio actively sources the most appropriate materials, makers, vendors, and craftspeople to execute bespoke projects that enrich the lives of the occupants and perform beautifully for their purpose.
