Nestled on the tropical island of Key Biscayne, 301 Ocean Drive is a luxury condominium development featuring 56 exclusive residences. The design draws inspiration from the island’s natural beauty and unique subtropical environment, embracing the principles of tropical architecture to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
Verdant greenery surrounds the residences, reflecting the island’s native ecosystem and creating an air of tropical serenity. By integrating open floor plans, expansive glass, and deep overhangs throughout the design, 301 Ocean Drive embraces the bay’s natural light and ocean views. The extensive landscaping and canopy plan creates pockets of shade across the condominium to provide comfort and maximize energy efficiency. Each residence incorporates terraces and balconies through which the line between indoor and outdoor spaces blur, celebrating the island’s year-round warmth.
The architecture pays homage to Key Biscayne’s rich history and natural charm, blending modern luxury with the island’s laid-back elegance. Materials and systems were carefully selected to withstand the challenges of coastal living, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic. From materials to landscaping, every element of 301 Ocean Drive was designed to harmonize with the tropical environment, offering residents a true and resilient sense of place.
Miami’s design language is rooted in our sunny but challenging climate, and somewhat wild nature. It is lighter, brighter, and freer. When desired, it can immerse us in nature while still having protective boundaries from the sun, heat, and storms when needed.

The client envisioned a home that was thoroughly modern yet grounded in historical architectural precedents; like many of our projects, 101 Hibiscus was crafted to respect past design traditions while capturing aspirations for the future.
