Delano Hotel Renovation
The Morgan Group brought the studio on as project architects for a complete renovation of Miami Beach’s Delano Hotel interiors. The expansive remodeling entailed designing the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for the hotel’s 208 guestrooms, which was done in collaboration with Banjo Interiors.
The interiors of the Delano Hotel were designed to reflect the beachy atmosphere just beyond, leaning into shades of white with green accents to bring a sense of airy brightness into the rooms. The primacy of the white interiors makes the contrast of the vibrant blue oceanfront that much starker, allowing guests to appreciate the beauty of Miami Beach even when inside.
Miami’s design language is rooted in our sunny but challenging climate, and somewhat wild nature. It is lighter, brighter, and freer. When desired, it can immerse us in nature while still having protective boundaries from the sun, heat, and storms when needed.
At the heart of our practice is listening: listening to the unique dreams and passions of our clients and weaving their visions into the vibrant tapestry of our dynamic city. The client envisioned a home that was thoroughly modern yet grounded in historical architectural precedents; like many of our projects, 101 Hibiscus was crafted to respect past design traditions while capturing aspirations for the future.
