Dazeen writer Eleanor Gibson spoke with Touzet Studio about their design for Out of the Blue, a "modern take on island architecture" for a Cat Cay holiday residence.
Many of the features are typical of traditional residences found on the island, such as the shutters, native keystone and wood-clad ceilings. But the palette and layout offers a contemporary touch that the team described as a "modern take on island architecture".
